Rosa Ho Esq. Attorney and Founder

        Small Business Legal Aid founder, Rosa Ho is dedicated to helping small business startup and thrive. As a small business owner herself, she founded a retail business in 2011 and learned first-hand the legal situations that small business owners face. From start-up and formation, tax-related matters, compliance with administrative agencies like the Secretary of State, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration or the Employment Development Department, and even dissolution there are many rules and regulations that small businesses must adhere to. Rosa seeks to make compliance easier for small businesses.

         She found that finding an attorney who specializes in helping small businesses with operational matters was difficult and costly. SBLA grew out of a need she saw for affordable legal services required for easier management of your business, whatever industry you are in.

         Rosa Ho was born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. She moved out to Orange County while attending the University of California Irvine where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Language and Literature. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she worked for a franchise Mitsubishi dealership and then for a franchise Mercedes Benz dealership. Taking what she learned, she started her own auto dealership which she operated from 2011.

         While operating her business, she returned to school and earned a J.D. from Loyola Law School. She simultaneously enrolled in Loyola Law School’s Tax LLM program and graduated with a 4.0 GPA and graduated with High Honors. While in law school, Rosa externed at the Office of Tax Appeals and helped small businesses and individuals to appeal sales and use tax assessments by the CDTFA. She also externed at the Loyola Law School Project for the Innocent to help wrongfully incarcerated inmates find freedom.

        Taking what she has learned in the automobile dealership and as a small business owner she combines her own personal experiences and her legal degree to guide her clients with various legal issues related to both areas.
